「Kind hearts are more than coronets, And simple faith than Norman blood; How happy could I be with either, Were t'other dear charmer away!」看過最精巧的黑色幽默，隨處可見的英式諷刺，靈魂台詞勾勒出千姿百態的貴族面孔或愚善或裝逼或冷血或唯利是圖，卻又自始自終散發出錯落有致的優雅。Alec Guinness一飾九角，以及Dennis精湛的演技，描摹出老貴族身上presumptuous，ostentatious特質。收尾鏡頭落幕在memoir上真有意思，irony精準表達，捨生也丟了coronets。輔導化好看，音樂好聽，每一個電影元素都值得回味，charming!
